De Villiers to dazzle PSL 4

The GOAT of the cricketing World and the former South African great, Abraham Benjamin de Villiers has finally announced his signing with the Pakistan’s only cricketing league– the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday.

The PSL official twitter page posted a video in which Mr. Perfect [De Villiers] announced to be available in the players draft for the fourth edition of the PSL.

In his video, De Villiers showed his excitement to play the PSL, calling it one of the most prominent cricketing leagues around the World.

“Here I am announcing to be the part of next year’s PSL– a league which has shown its strength to the World and has became one of the most successful leagues around the World within no time,” De Villiers said.

He said that the quality of the game and nail-biting contests of the league had made it more enthralling for a cricketing enthusiast like him.

“I have seen many matches of the PSL in recent years and to be honest it made me stick in front of the television throughout, it’s truly amazing,” Mr. 360 stated.

De Villiers also thanked the Pakistani fans and the PSL for their support and ensured to make his presence feel out there.

“I really want to thank the people in Pakistan for their support. I will try my best to play my role to make this league more bigger and better,” said De Villiers who ended his video message saying ‘Ap ka shukriya’.

De Villiers, who retired from international cricket earlier this year, will be one of the greatest additions to the PSL’s family as the 34-years-old part time wicket-keeper batsman brings a stellar record of having more than 20,000 international runs in his account.

On the other hand, the newly elected president of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ehsan Mani welcomed the astonishing cricketer to the PSL.

“We are delighted to sign de Villiers for the PSL,” said Mani.

“He is a complete entertainment package for a cricket fan who will add immense value to the tournament. Prior to that, his presence will be an extra advantage for our youngster to learn and gain from him,” he added.

De Villiers had played 228 one Day Internationals for South Africa scoring 9577 runs at an average of 53.50.

He had represented Protease in 78 T-20 matches having 1672 to his name.

Apart from playing for South Africa, he has played many T20 leagues around the World including the World’s most popular league–the Indian Premier League (IPL).
